Ladies Support Group

Concerts at home and abroad  always have a special Welsh warmth to them because the  ladies attend in full national costume and act as ambassadors for both the  choir and for Wales.  At concerts the ladies raise funds for the Choir by selling programmes, Choir C.D.’s, memorabilia and Welsh souvenirs.

Remarkably the group has contributed over £60,000 to the main funds of the Choir over the years. This is an achievement the ladies can be justifiably proud of!

Côr Meibion De Cymru is very fortunate to have such an active and enthusiastic group of ladies who tirelessly support and promote the choir.  The ladies attend all Choir rehearsals at Cwmafan, providing refreshments, organising raffles and looking after the well being of choristers. Their delicious Christmas Buffet would make your mouth water!
